Pronouns


Here you have a complete chart with all the pronouns there are in English:





 - Subject Pronouns are used as the subject of a verb.

                       ex: I live in Madrid


 - Object Prononuns are used typically as a grammatical object: the direct or indirect object of a verb.

                  ex: You eat chocolate (direct object)

                  ex: They sent him a present (indirect object)


- Possessive Adjectives are used to show possession of something.

                  ex: That is her book.


 - Possessive Pronouns are used to attribute ownership to someone or something.

                  ex: Those cars are mine.


 - Reflexive Pronouns are used to refer back to the subject of the sentence.

         ex: We do the exercises ourselves.
