Music Activities

First Song: The Beatles - Yesterday

You are going to listen once this song. Later, you will listen it again and you will have to fill in the gaps in the text below.

The Beatles - Yesterday

Yesterday,
All my _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ seemed so far away,
Now it looks as though they're _ _ _ _ to stay
Oh I believe in yesterday

Suddenly,
I'm not half the _ _ _  I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
Oh _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ came suddenly

Why she had to go
I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said something _ _ _ _ _
now I'm long for yesterday

Yesterday,
_ _ _ _ was such an easy _ _ _ _ to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh I believe in yesterday

_ _ _ she had to go
I don't know, she wouldn't say
I said _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ wrong
now I'm long for yesterday

Yesterday,
Love was such an easy game to play
Now I need a _ _ _ _ _ to hide away
Oh I believe in yesterday

When you have finished to complete the song, take a look of this video and check your answers.
